Hollow Lance Tubes

ERW mild steel pipes with higher tensile strength (SAE1008-Hot Rolled) to prevent bending during lancing. Used where combustible material is present: ferroalloy, copper, steel, platinum production, taphole opening, and scrap cutting.

Wire Packed Lance Tubes

Heats and burns steel in pressurized oxygen. Basic iron-oxygen reaction generates >3,500°C to cut, drill, or melt refractory material, moulds, and ingots. Low-cost method for extreme flame temperatures.

Calorised Ceramic Coated Lance Pipes

Low carbon, thin-walled pipe with high strength-to-weight ratio. Calorised 100-150 microns deep, then coated with high-alumina ceramic on inner/outer surfaces for superior spalling resistance at high temperatures.
